2011-2012 Spirit Xplosion Teams
Bombers 4- 8 yr olds
Baby Bombers are a non-competitive cheerleading team of 4yr. – 5yr. olds. They perform in four to five competitions per year. Practices are once per week for one hour. Although they are small in size they are large in Spirit!
Sparks (Mini Level 1) Exhibition
Sparks are a non-competitive cheerleading team of 8yr. olds and under. They perform in four to tive competitons per year. Practices are once per week for one hour. This team is required to adhere to all spirit Xplosion rules and attendence policies.
Flares (Mini Level 1) Competitive
The Flares are a competitive level I cheerleading team of 8yrolds and under. They compete in three to five competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for about an hour. The fundamentals of tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, and dance are reinforced at this level with progressions to more difficult skills and choreography. Members at this level are required to have advancing skills and increased dedication
Burst
(Youth Level 1) Competitive
The Burst are a competitive level I cheerleading team of 11yrolds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. The fundamentals of tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, and dance are reinforced at this level with progressions to more difficult skills and choreography. Members at this level are required to have advancing skills and increased dedication
Ignite (Junior Level 1) Competitive
Ignite a competitive level 1 junior cheerleading team of 14yr. olds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. The fundamentals of tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, and dance are reinforced at this level with progressions to more difficult skills and choreography. Members at this level are required to have advancing skills and increased dedication.
Fire (Junior Level 2) Competitive
Fire ia a competitive level 2 junior cheerleading team of 14yr. olds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. Blasters (Senior Level 1) Competitive
Blasters is a competitive level I senior cheerleading team of 18yr olds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. The advanced tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, and dance are required at this level with progressions to more difficult skills and choreography. Members at this level are required to have advancing skills and increased dedication. At this level, members should know the basics and be willing to push themselves physically and mentally.
Nitro (Senior Level 2) Competitive
The TnT team is a competitive level 3 senior cheerleading team of 18yr olds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. The advanced tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, and dance are required at this level with progressions to more difficult skills and choreography. T-n-T (Senior Level 3) Competitive
The T-n-T team is a competitive level 3 senior cheerleading team of 18yr olds and under. They compete in six to seven competitions per year. Practices are twice per week for an hour and a half. X-Coed 6 (Open Level 6) Exhibition
X-coed 6 is an exhibition Coed leve 6 performance team. Members will practice once per week and perform at local events and predetermined competitions. Advanced skills in stunting, tumbling, dance and jumps are required. The minimum age of athletes is 16yrs. with individual exceptions. The goal of this team is to have fun with advanced skills and put on entertaining performances.
